Global Business & Finance Program
The Global Business & Finance program teaches skills that will lead to success in the 21st Century workplace, while fostering personal growth and social responsibility. Through cross-curricular collaboration, this program promotes an understanding that no academic subject stands alone. Knowledge of statistics offers little advantage in isolation but when paired with the ability to write data driven reports and the inspiration to pursue the unknown, students become empowered to assess and influence the world around them. English teachers guide GBF students through an exploration of their personal priorities, both material and spiritual. In their history courses, they learn the relationship between political power and economic power, and in Money & Banking they see how personal financial literacy can limit the degree to which these forces will dictate their future life choices. In short, GBF seeks to develop a complete graduate ready for career, ready for social responsibility, ready for life.
